Highlights of Férdia's early music career include winning 'highly commended' in the Ella Kidney Early Music Competition; gaining a place in the inaugural year of the Brighton Early Music Festival's apprenticeship scheme Early Music Live as well as being accepted to play at the Festival Oudemuziek Utrecht.

Férdia regularly collaborates with contemporary composers and has an ensemble, Curious Collections, with Jason Dixon.
