During her time at Trinity College of Music Férdia won 'highly commended' in the Ella Kidney Early Music Competition as part of her ensemble. Last year she gained a place in the inaugural year of the Brighton Early Music Festival's apprenticeship scheme Early Music Live as well as being accepted to play at the Festival Oudemuziek Utrecht.

Férdia is currently playing in two groups. The first is 'Curious Collections' with musician Laura Cannell - it combines recorder, fiddle, symphonie and pipes in an exploration of medieval music. The second is 'The Muses' Garden', a multi-instrumental group with Jennifer Bennett.
